A friendly place to enjoy your day

At the Farmers market you can arrange to meet with friends, stroll in the open air with your families or find new acquaintances while enjoying a variety of local goods. Treat yourself to home-made treats, fresh fruits, local produce and herbs, all the while remaining in the open air with an old style flair. In addition many of the markets also carry plants and flowers, handcrafts, artisan cheeses and a variety of other specialty goods.

At every market we offer that days very best. We are always glad to see our customers and share our knowledge, experience, tips and ideas, so stop by and say hello.

Below is an alphabetical listing of the community farmers markets and shows we are attending this year. We will continue to update this page and post changes and additions as we become aware of them.

Aurora Gardeners Sale, May 15

Time and date: 8:00 am to noon, Saturday, May 15th.

Burr Ridge Market on the Green, Thursdays

Held every Thursday morning on the Village Green, this event will teach you what it means to be a locavore and make healthy food choices. With over 30 farmers and vendors, the Burr Ridge farmers' market has become one of the most successful and anticipated morning markets in the western suburbs.

Frankfort Country Market, Sundays

From their website: The market is more than a place to shop for farm-fresh produce. It is an experience to share with nature, family, and community. Supporting Local Agriculture is Important. Time and dates: Sundays, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, April 25th through October 2010.
Location: In Frankfort, IL, The Frankfort Country Market is located along the bike path in historic downtown Frankfort, at the intersection of Oak and Kansas Street. Frankfort is located two miles south of Interstate 80 and three miles west of Interstate 57.

Chicago Green City Market, Wednesdays and Saturdays

Provides a marketplace for local farmers who take care of the land by raising their products in agriculturally sustainable ways. For more information, including a list of vendors, visit www.chicagogreencitymarket.org.
Time and dates: We will be vending every Wednesday and Saturday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, May 12th through October 31st.
Location: In Chicago, IL, at the South end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton.

Yorktown Mall Farmer's Market (in Lombard), Wednesday Evenings

In the courtyard at Yorktown Mall. Surrounded by shops and restaurants, vendors here will sell organic and naturally grown farm products.
Time and Day: Wednesday Evenings, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, June 9th through October 6th.
