About Us
A northern Illinois grower located in the Village of Millbrook, Majestic Nursery (and farm) is a sustainable and environmentally responsible homestead, farm and nursery owned and operated by Randy and Gayle Roberts. We grow produce, fresh cut and potted herbs, premium annuals and perennials, and are artisans of planted container arrangements, and handcrafted birdhouses and gourdcrafts.
To purchase our hand-crafted gourd birdhouses, feeders, nesting balls and other decorative gourd-crafts, please visit us at the craft shows we attend. We will have a small sampling with us at most of the farmers markets as well.
We custom design and install container arrangements and deliver them to area homes and businesses throughout the year. We bring an additional assortment to some of the farmers markets and craft shows we attend. For those who wish it, we will plant arrangements into their own personal containers, drop offs and pre-arranged pick ups are at the farmers markets.
We sell freshly harvested produce at several community-based farmers markets throughout the week, and maintain a roadside stand located in Millbrook at the intersection of Dobson Ln and Whitfield Rd. (if using a GPS or map program use zip code 60536), it runs from around the middle of April to the end of October. Refer to our daily availability during the growing season to see what's at the stand and what we are bringing to the farmers market, it will vary from market to market (as in some will require no fruit, others no plants and some we don't bring produce at all).
We raise our produce and herbs in a natural, responsible and healthy manner. We do not use synthetic chemicals on products that are meant to be eaten, this includes any edible flowers we package for consumption. We are glad to share a more detailed summary of our philosophy and practices, which we have provided in our sustainability statement.
We grow our premium annuals full and healthy, many of our selections are licensed by Proven Winners or are part of the Proven Selections line.
